Isn’t it great having a beach vacation on this time of summer where the sun is bright, with your family, friends, relatives, your loved ones eating on the bay, chit-chatting, sharing stories and doing activities you can enjoy on the beach.
But before thinking of going on a beach somewhere, what are the things you need to bring? The stuffs that will help your beach getaway a happy and memorable one.
1. Plenty of Water
You don’t wanna get dehydrated and get exhausted because of the immense heat that the sun is giving off. Even if you’re enjoying the activities do not forget to also take care of your body.
2. Snacks
Of course, who doesn’t bring snacks on a vacation? Nothing is more appetizing than eating snacks after you go running on the sand and surf all day. Make sure that you bring lots of snacks to keep your energy throughout the day.
3. Sunscreen
Never ever forget to bring a pack of sunscreen for you and your family, with the right SPF that suits your skin. You don’t wanna get sunburned or get your skin damaged because of the hot weather.
4. Flip Flops
Don’t forget bringing your flip flops with you, nothing is worse than walking on the hot sand bare foot it’ll burn your feet. As for sneakers its a hassle putting your socks and shoes back every time you wear them off. Just put on your flip flops and walk on that shore like a model.
5. A Whistle
When going on a beach with a lot of people or is crowded, its easy to lose your child or vice versa accidentally. To avoid that happening, you can bring a whistle for the whole family so you all will recognize each other and meet right up at the cottage where you were.
6. Change of Clothes
Wet bathing suits will ruin your car seats. Bringing an extra pair of clothes will not just make you feel comfortable but also save your seats from getting tattered.
7. An Umbrella
The sun on the beach can harm your skin. And so bringing an umbrella will help you have a shady retreat if you don’t wanna go out of the sun for some time.
8. Games
Not the kind of games you have on your gadgets, but beach games like frisbee, beach volleyball, football or just the classic shovel and pail. Bonding is a thing that everybody likes especially when doing beach-time fun activities.
9. Baby Powder
If you’re not so into having the sand stick on your feet as you walk on it, put some powder on your feet before you go walking, with this, the sand will just fall off your feet. It works like magic!
10. A First-Aid Kit
On the beach, accidents can happen, who knows? You might step on like a sea urchin or something sharp, a first-aid kit will always come in handy when dealing with those situations.
